What is the A+ Program

A school financial incentive program for students to obtain a post-secondary education

What are the benefits?

Tuition to attend any Missouri Community College or public vocational or technical school. There are also stipends for 4 yr universities. The student can attend for 2 yrs or 6 semesters or the completion of 105% of the hours required for the program. A+ eligibility can be used up to 48 months after high school graduation
Military has within 12 months of completing service if it is after the 4 year period.

High School Requirements

  1. 95% Attendance

  2. 2.5 GPA

  3. 50 Tutoring Hours

  4. American Citizenship

  5. Apply for FAFSA

  6. Register for selective service

  7. Algebra 1 EOC proficient or better or 17 on the ACT

College Requirements

  1. Be enrolled full time: 12 hrs/semester and/or 6 hrs/Summer

  2. 2.5 GPA (in full-time status) to continue to receive A+ funding

  3. All other scholarships and grants will be applied first before A+ money
